Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various machinery and equipment. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Read and interpret schematics to understand electrical systems and mechanical layouts. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities. Perform troubleshooting on mechanical systems and electrical components. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including industrial electricians, to ensure comprehensive maintenance solutions. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during maintenance activities.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role within an industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to analyze complex systems. Proficiency in reading schematics related to electrical systems. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. A commitment to safety standards and practices in the workplace.
