Millwright Apprentice

to join our team and grow their career with us.

Position Overview:

As a Millwright Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced journeyperson millwrights and machinery movers, gaining hands-on skills in machinery installation, repair, rigging, and maintenance. This role is ideal for someone eager to build a career in the trades while learning in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installation, maintenance, repair, and moving of machinery and industrial equipment. Support senior millwrights and rigging crews on job sites. Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment. Learn and follow proper rigging and safety procedures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications (training provided). Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Registered or eligible to register as a Millwright Apprentice (preferred). Mechanical aptitude and interest in working with tools and machinery. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing, confined spaces). Valid driver's license (DZ or AZ license is an asset). Safety certifications (Forklift, Working at Heights, WHMIS, etc.) are an asset but not required.
