Job Description

We are a mid-sized commercial millwork manufacturer and have been serving our clients for over 30 years. Located in Arnprior, ON, we are just hour West of Kanata.

To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced machine operator to set up and operate a Biesse CNC, edgebander, and drill/dowel machine.

Role and responsibility will include

Load and position proper material on to CNC Run production parts through edgebander Identify required machining and operate drill/dowel machine Select proper tooling and programs as per job requirements on all machines Monitor material to ensure quality standards are met Properly label and organize parts to ensure production flow Read and interpret shop drawings Communicate with management and coworkers to achieve goals Maintain and clean machinery and workspace Follow shop safety standards at all times
The ideal candidate will

Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn and improve their skills Possess a strong work ethic Interact effectively with co-workers Respond well to feedback and be able to work with minimal supervision Have previous experience in woodworking and cabinetmaking. Be able to lift a 4x8 sheet of material Have excellent math and computer skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
