Overview

Madsen's Custom Cabinets (1983) Ltd. is an award-winning architectural millwork company specializing in commercial and high-end residential projects. We are looking for a permanent helper/ apprentice to join our spraying/finishing department.

Responsibilities

Assist with spraying and finishing of millwork and cabinetry Sanding, staining, and prepping materials for finishing Handling and moving parts in and out of the spray booth Maintaining a clean and organized work area Supporting cabinetmakers and finishers as needed

Qualifications

Some experience in spraying and/or cabinetmaking is an asset Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods Proficiency with various hand tools. Experience with spraying, machining, and cabinet assembly is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 50 per week

spraying/painting : 1 year (preferred) sanding/prepping wood surfaces: 1 year (required) cabinetmaking: 1 year (required) lacquer, stain, or other wood finishing products: 1 year (required)
