Growing custom millwork and cabinetry company specializing in the design, fabrication and installation of high-quality commercial and residential millwork is looking for an experienced

Millwork Designer / Project Coordinater with Mozaik skills

to join the team. The ideal candidate is fully proficient in Mozaik software, understands the cabinetry and millwork business inside and out, enjoys engaging with both clients and colleagues while playing a key role in shaping projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities include:

Engineer and create detailed designs of casework, panels, and other components for commercial/residential millwork in Mozaik. Meet with clients to understand their needs and translate client ideas and architectural plans into accurate, buildable solutions. Prepare accurate estimates and quotes for all millwork projects, process approved orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure production readiness. Assist in resolving any production machine programming issues that may arise, support and or conduct any additional programming (e.g. parametric programming or material nesting) to ensure maximum material utilization and efficient production. Work closely with Project Management and Production staff to prepare preliminary bid packages, identify and resolve technical issues and challenges. Collaborate across departments to keep projects on track and customers satisfied Carry out basic project coordination functions to ensure projects stay on track for timely completion. Ensure that measurements and technical data collection from site is complete, accurate and current. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers Work to improve procurement processes and source new materials or vendors as needed Handle inquiries from key stakeholders regarding project developments and issue resolution. Look for opportunities to protect or improve project margins through innovation and best practices. Participate actively in our weekly team meetings, contributing to both personal and professional discussions

Required qualifications:

Proficiency in Mozaik millwork design software, familiarity with AutoCAD and other design/project tools A minimum of 2 years' related experience with a millwork or cabinet manufacturer. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings/bid documents and conceptualize projects accurately. Strong understanding of millwork construction, materials, and cabinetry hardware Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate project estimates Sales or customer service experience in a design/construction environment Experience managing vendors and material sourcing Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate directly with clients and team members Excellent analytical and judgmental skills; detail oriented and organized with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize daily tasks and implement processes and procedures to support this. Ability to work effectively under pressure and with tight deadlines. Proficiency using other general office software (e.g. Microsoft Office). A personal drive to reach your development potential as a millwork design professional.
