The Mill Training Coordinator reports to the Training Manager.

This position is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

• Be responsible for the overall training program on Surface, including Mill Operations and Mill Maintenance
• Lead the Surface Training Team
• Coordinate resources to fulfill training needs
• Conduct training needs analysis
• Assist in development, design, maintenance, and documentation of training programs
• Evaluate departmental training programs, monitoring employee performance, and data reporting
• Coordinate and conduct theoretical and practical training
• Utilize various systems and programs, including the Learning Management System, and ORACLE
• Liaise with stakeholders regarding training needs and requirements
• Collaborate and support within the Training Team

What you will bring:

• A highschool diploma or GED
• A good knowledge of mine operation and maintenance techniques
• Hands on knowledge of machinery and equipment used in mill operations is preferred
• Experience as a teacher or training in adult education would be an asset
• Superior interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are essential
• Demonstrated positive safety behavior and safety leadership
• Knowledge of OH&S Regulations and other safety requirements would be an asset
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office would be an asset
• Previous supervisor experience would be an asset
• Ability to instruct mill operations and maintenance employees in all technical phases of their job would be an asset
