We're looking for a

Mill Sales Coordinator

to join our head office located in

Vernon, British Columbia

. Our head office houses Tolko's corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.



Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:


Some

post-secondary education

in business, forestry, manufacturing or equivalent experience. Strong

written

and

verbal communication

skills. Experience providing positive

customer experience

, with proven

relationship

and

conflict management

skills. Proven

problem-solving

and

critical thinking skills

, with the ability to provide multiple solutions to a given challenge. High level of ability in

Outlook

(email management) and

Excel

(formulas, pivot tables, lookups). Strong understanding of

general accounting principles

. Working knowledge of up and down stream supply chain structure. Experience using a

sales system (AX or other)

. Experience in forestry or wood products is an asset.

In this role, you will:

Gather, analyze

, and

communicate

product supply information to manage working capital and on-time shipment. Work to achieve optimum value for Tolko by

effectively utilizing

container

capacity and rates

.

Respond quickly

and

proactively

to supply and demand shifts via market allocation processes.

Address

and

suggest actionable changes

for product damages or claims for shipments. Use

problem-solving skills

to suggest changes to individual orders when required.

Create orders

and process all

shipping and receiving

for reman and external purchases.

Balance

and

reconcile inventory

at origin reloads. Liaise with sales and agents closely on customer requirements.
