YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Senior Mechanical General Supervisor, you will be part of the Mill Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Supervise and coordinate the surface mill maintenance crew to ensure work is performed correctly, safely and on time with minimal impact on mine productivity
Hold daily safety/communication meetings with crew
Lead and coordinate all mechanical mill and paste plant equipment maintenance and projects
Support and direct lead hands in crew line ups
Ensure crews are trained to work in a safe, productive, and environmentally sound manner
Inspect work to identify training needs
Supervise and manage performance in step with set KPI's, including planned and responsive maintenance and shutdowns
Motivate and instruct all crew members when possible
Review and sign off work-orders in SAP/S4 Hana
Communicate with other department personnel to plan and schedule maintenance work
Assist in revising programs, procedures, parts, systems, etc
All other duties as may be assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Interprovincial Millwright License
Supervisor Common Core Modules (Surface), Mill Common Core Modules
5 or more years of experience in surface/mill environment preferred
Experience in supervisory/leadership role preferred
