Job Summary:

A Milkman is responsible for collecting, transporting, and delivering fresh milk and other dairy products to customers, retailers, or distribution centers. The role involves ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the quality and hygiene of the products.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver milk and other dairy products to homes, shops, or institutions according to a set route and schedule. Load and unload milk containers or crates carefully to avoid spillage or damage. Ensure all products are kept at the correct temperature and handled hygienically. Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts, and payments. Build and maintain good relationships with customers. Report any delivery issues, vehicle problems, or product shortages. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition. Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Valid driver's license (if operating a delivery vehicle). Good knowledge of local delivery routes. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle physical work and lift heavy milk crates. Basic math skills for handling payments and inventory. Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude. Experience in delivery or food handling (preferred).

Working Conditions:

Early morning shifts (often starting before sunrise). Outdoor work in various weather conditions. Physical work involving lifting and carrying.

Pay: $39,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
