Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Milker to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the milking of dairy cows, ensuring the health and well-being of the animals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working in a farm environment.

Duties

Perform milking operations using automated milking machines. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of milking equipment and facilities. Monitor the health of cows during the milking process, reporting any abnormalities to management. Assist with feeding and caring for dairy cows outside of milking hours. Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment as needed for daily operations. Maintain accurate records of milk production and cow health data.

Qualifications

Experience with farm machinery operation is preferred. Basic math skills for record keeping and monitoring production levels. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in agricultural settings. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely. Previous experience in a similar role is required Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.30-$25.00 per hour
