The opportunity:



Goway is seeking an experienced M365 Migration and Improvement Specialist to join our IT department. We are embarking on a significant digital transformation journey and need an expert to guide us in migrating our staff to Microsoft 365 (M365) and optimizing our current set-up. This contract position for a period of 2 months offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization\'s productivity and efficiency through effective utilization of M365.


Key Responsibilities:

  • M365 Migration and Deployment:
    • Lead the migration of our staff to M365, ensuring a seamless transition.
    • Evaluate current file structures and recommend improvements for better organization and collaboration.
    • Oversee the deployment of M365 applications and services to meet the needs of different teams and departments.
  • Training and User Adoption:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on M365 applications and features.
    • Provide support and resources to promote effective M365 usage and user adoption.
    • Monitor and evaluate user feedback to improve the training process.
  • Data Migration:
    • Collaborate with Goway\'s IT team to plan and execute the transfer of staff files, ensuring data integrity and security throughout the process.
    • Manage the data migration, including data mapping, validation, and testing.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • In conjunction with our IT team, ensure that M365 is configured to meet security and compliance requirements.
    • Implement best practices for data protection and access control.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain clear and updated documentation related to the M365 environment, configurations, and processes.
    • Generate reports on key performance indicators, usage statistics, and project progress.



Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other M365 apps.
  • Previous experience in leading M365 migrations and optimization projects.
  • Strong understanding of file structures, data management, and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent training and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data migration best practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in M365.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.



Additional Information:
  • Certifications in Microsoft 365, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are a plus.
