Overview

We are seeking skilled Welders to join our dynamic team on our

AFTERNOON SHIFT (4x 10 Hours per day, M-TH)

. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques and processes. This role involves assembling and building components using power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery to ensure high-quality production standards. The Welder will work closely with schematics to fabricate metal containers and parts, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Operate welding equipment and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal components. Primary MIG welding. Being able to Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings will be an asset. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet safety standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding or related fields is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use power tools effectively. Familiarity with large steel garbage bins would be an asset. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to learn new techniques and processes in welding and fabrication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
