The MIG Welder will play a crucial role in constructing and assembling metal structures, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Conduct rigging operations as necessary for lifting materials or components. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specifications.

Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding techniques; experience with TIG welding is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with machining processes and the use of calipers for precise measurements. Experience in ductwork fabrication and assembly within construction or manufacturing environments. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently when required. Competence in basic math for accurate measurements and calculations. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
