What will you be doing as a welder?- performing MIG welding
- fitting, pressure vessel welding, MUST have experience with this
- grinding, polishing
- helping out in other areas of the shop as needed
- training others
- working as a part of a team to produce high quality products that are shipped all over
- paying strong attention to Health & Safety protocols
- working directly with a team member on large pieces
- showing enthusiasm for the work that you do on a daily basis
- performing quality checksQualifications
- able to pass a pre-employment physical testing
- can pass a flat MIG test
- can pass a written blueprint/weld symbol test
- experience with pressure vessel welding
- relatively clear criminal record (no theft or violent charges)
- tenure at your previous places of work is ideal
- ideally, you will have completed a welding school (new grads are welcome to apply), but not mandatory
- have a reliable mode of transportation as the shift does not work on the bus route
- MINIMUM of 5 years as a true welder/fitter, IDEALLY 7-10 years of experienceSummary
