Microsoft Solution Sales Specialist

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Microsoft Sales Solutions Specialist is an exceptional relationship builder, able to connect easily with internal clients, external clients, and partners. As the Microsoft Sales Solutions Specialist, you will be helping our clients acquire the right Microsoft technology and maximize their technology investments by designing optimal licensing scenarios using all available Insight and Microsoft tools. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients as well as with Microsoft stakeholders and leveraging your deep understanding of Microsoft product solutions, programs, funding, and services to grow sales opportunities and drive business growth.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Understanding of sales process, including forecasting and pipeline.
  • Develop and present optimal licensing scenarios and solutions for reaching client\'s technology goals.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize licensing investments and cost savings.
  • Understand and communicate Insight\'s Microsoft service offerings and position these offerings to existing and net new clients aligned with client\'s business outcomes and technology strategy.
  • Active co-selling with Insight and Microsoft stakeholders, including Account Managers, Commercial Executives and Technical Solution Specialists.
  • Collaborate with clients and the Microsoft account team to negotiate licensing agreements and pricing.
  • Ongoing Learning and Certification to deepen your expertise on Microsoft products, programs, licensing terms, market priorities, competitors, and the industry.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience:
  • Preferably a bachelor\'s degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling Microsoft technology solutions or licensing, along with strong technical knowledge of Microsoft core technology and licensing.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise sales and solutions selling.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Executive presence, excellent communication skills, and solid presentation skills for internal/external executives or end-user audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • A great attitude and the ability to engage different stakeholders from various teams.
  • Executive presence, excellent communication skills and solid presentation skills for internal/external executives or end-user audiences.
  • The ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
