We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services, along with a strong background in IT support.The Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to Microsoft 365 applications, resolving issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring smooth operation of Microsoft 365 services for our organization.Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and other related services.
  • Respond to user inquiries and issues promptly, either through ticketing systems, email, or phone calls, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to Microsoft 365 applications, including installation, configuration, and usage issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to implement and maintain Microsoft 365 services, ensuring integration with existing systems and workflows.
  • Monitor and manage Microsoft 365 services, including performance tuning, security configuration, and backup/restore procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and updates in Microsoft 365 applications and services, and provide recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials for Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of migration projects to Microsoft 365, including data migration and user training.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and off-hours support as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Support Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and services, particularly within the Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Identity and Access Management solutions such as Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 compliance and governance features.
  • Familiarity with third-party tools and applications that integrate with Microsoft 365 services.
  • Experience in managing and supporting hybrid environments with on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
