We are looking for experienced industrial lab analysts to help bring new and innovative formulations to life. This role will be based out of our newly equipped Fraser Lab in Toronto. This role is looking for the incumbents to work either a Sunday to Wednesday Shift or a Tuesday to Saturday Shift. WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Follow internal standard operating procedures and participate in lab team meetings
• Perform Method Suitability or Method Validation as required
• Review and approve Growth promotion for all media
• Conduct Microbial Limit Testing, Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing (AET), Preservative
• Efficacy test (PET), Pseudomonads testing per USP, EP, BP, TGA, and internal procedure with minimal supervision
• Prepare media, reagent, and solution based on USP, EP, BP, and/or internal procedure
• Cleaning of lab ware and decontamination waste
• Perform Microbial Identifications and maintain stock cultures
• Operate Lab equipment such as pH meter, water activity meter, autoclave, Masterclave, dilumat, automated plate pourer, balance, biosafety cabinet, etc., and assist in the qualifications, maintenance, and calibrations of the equipment
• Sample and process environmental monitoring sampling and testing for air, surfaces, water, equipment, and personnel

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Competent technical laboratory skills not requiring constant direct supervision
• Able to work independently on a variety of tasks
• Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
• Experience in manufacturing sites for cosmetics or pharmaceutical an asset
• Relevant Experience in LIMS an asset
