As the Microbiology Analyst, you will work within the Quality Control Team to respond to Manufacturing microbiological analyses requests.

RESPONSABILITIES & DUTIES

• Perform sampling for environmental monitoring of manufacturing areas (sterile and non-sterile).
• Perform water sampling and analyses.
• Perform microbiological sampling for cleaning validation.
• Receive and release culture media and laboratory material.
• Participate in finished products, raw materials and packaging analytical monitoring.
• Write documents related to laboratories activities to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and company Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participate in the investigation process (OOS, REQ, etc).
• Work in an environment complying with Good Manufacturing Practices

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to work standing for hours in a sterile environment
• Ability to work in a noisy environment
• Good physical condition

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and aseptic techniques
• Knowledge of microbiological analysis methods such as endotoxin testing, microbial count, particle count
• Knowledge of pharmacopoeias
• Ease of written and verbal communication in French
• Teamwork ability
• Computer practical knowledge
• Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Sterile is an asset.

Experience : 1 years: Minimum one (1) year of experience in a microbiology laboratory, in pharmacetical industry.
