As the Microbiology Analyst, you will work within the Quality Control Team to respond to Manufacturing microbiological analyses requests.

Responsabilities & Duties :

• Performs sampling for environmental monitoring of manufacturing areas (sterile and non-sterile).
• Performs water sampling and analyses.
• Performs microbiological sampling for cleaning validation.
• Receives and release culture media and laboratory material.
• Participates in finished products, raw materials and packaging analytical monitoring.
• Writes documents related to laboratories activities to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and company Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participates in the investigation process (OOS, REQ, etc).
• Works in an environment complying with Good Manufacturing Practices

Working Conditions & Physical Environment :

• Ability to work standing for hours in a sterile environment
• Ability to work in a noisy environment
• Good physical condition

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities :

• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and aseptic techniques
• Knowledge of microbiological analysis methods such as endotoxin testing, microbial count, particle count
• Knowledge of pharmacopoeias
• Ease of written and verbal communication in French
• Teamwork ability
• Computer practical knowledge
• Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Sterile is an asset.
• English read & written

Education : Bachelor

Experience : 1 years: Minimum one (1) year of experience in a microbiology laboratory, in pharmaceutical industry.
