Job Title: Methods EngineerWe are seeking a well versed Methods Engineer specializing in avionics to join our rapidly growing methods team. This role involves overseeing 4-5 methods engineers, supporting multiple deliveries and completion of aircrafts, and ensuring successful wiring installations and avionics modifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in change management, wiring modifications, and EWIS (Electrical Wiring InterConnect System).Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of 4-5 methods engineers.
• Support new and existing aircraft creation, focusing on wiring installations and avionics.
• Manage change processes and ensure accurate wiring modifications.
• Review and strip 50-60% of the wiring from old harnesses and run development through to a glass cockpit.
• Address and resolve routing and termination issues.
• Interact with various functions to ensure smooth process integration.

Essential Skills

• 6+ years of progressive hands-on experience in an avionics manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in manufacturing planning and methods for avionics.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, termination, EWIS, and glass cockpit modifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of aerospace engineering and manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational and process design issues.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft engineering drawings.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology; or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Aircraft Maintenance Engineer).
• Advanced knowledge in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) experience.
• Working knowledge of cost accounting and cost estimating.
• Intermediate knowledge in engineering, assembly, structural design, method validation, structure, fabrication, fabrication inspection, aircraft assembly, and aircraft parts.
• 6+ years of experience in methods in aerospace.
• 6+ years of experience creating EM's to clearly define the electrical/avionics system.
