Reporting to the Team Lead, Metering and Data Management, the Meter Data Management Support Analyst, will provide critical technical and operational support for ENMAX Power meter reading, the Metering data group, and all internal and external stakeholders. This role is a part of the digital transformation of Metering and is responsible for maintaining meter reading and data management operations required for all ENMAX Power metering interests.

Major Responsibilities:

Validate, estimate, edit and publish metering data for Metering Services using various software platforms including FCS, VEE, RMS Maximo, Business Objects, PowerBI and MV90.

Manage and maintain the collection, storage, validation, and transfer of metering data for MDM meter reading using a variety of collection methods.

Manage our Meter Reading and Metering Service contractual obligations and relationships with our Municipal customers and select Meter Reading contractors.

Represent the business unit during customer escalations.

Maintain the meter reading routes and cycles used for Meter Reading as well as all relevant hardware and devices.

Lead the ongoing maintenance and assurance of the AMI network including all hardware (gatekeepers, routers, modems, and radio devices), software and firmware management, RF communications, mobility backhaul, meter endpoints, data collection, and the management/execution of commands required to support daily operations.

Lead in the development and ongoing refinement of processes, procedures, reporting, and tools required to proactively support and sustain AMI Network operations, with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF) mesh communications and data retrieval.

Responsible to lead or facilitate vendors and key internal stakeholders on initiatives required to ensure the ongoing standardization, development, and optimization of our AMI network while focusing on improving overall grid capabilities/communications and metering data accuracy.

Lead in the development and delivery of internal training and supporting documentation for use by the AMI Head End Systems Team, Meter Lab Operations, and Meter Installers.

Lead in the development of dashboards and reports that effectively capture key metrics to reflect network performance, AMI meter data collection as well as critical details about a meter population with over 500K unique endpoints.

Education Required:

Related University Degree with a minimum of 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 related experience or technical Diploma in an electrical-related field with 6 years related experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience working with telecommunications systems with an emphasis on RF mesh and cellular network communications.

Experience in data modeling, conducting analysis, presentation, and dashboard development.

High level of competency and adaptability using internal systems including - Connexo, RMS Maximo, VEE, FCS/MVRS/MV90, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and PowerBI.

Strong technical writing skills demonstrated through the creation of clear/concise reports, correspondence, policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.

Intermediate skills in MS office applications.

Proven hands-on experience with testing methodologies and quality control.

Experience working with electric meter meteorology including metering data collection, editing, and validation systems within the last 5 years is an asset.

Previous experience in Honeywell AMI Network solutions such as the Connexo network management system, and knowledge of Metercat is an asset.

Salary: Financial/Business Analyst Level C (Current CUPE 2022 rates)

$91,830.10 - $97,622.80 - $103,336.14 - $109,029.65 - $114,802.51
