Job description:

Purpose of the Role:

We are looking for a professional to join a small team handling sales contracts for base metals products. The role encompasses inland logistics, shipping, L/C presentations, and all aspects of contract administration. The team handles LME hedging, trade finance, inspection and analysis appointments, insurance issues, secondary costs payments/reconciliation and provides reports and analysis to management and to Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Support: Assist the sales team in all aspects of the sales process, from initial inquiry to order fulfillment.
• Contract Administration: Manage and update contracts with customers and intercompany parties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Preparation and presentation of documents to banks against letters of credit
• Monitoring price exposure with customers and suppliers
• Setting up secondary costs payments with financing banks
• Sales Documentation: Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation related to sales transactions, including invoices, contracts, and shipping records.
• Working closely with other colleagues based at FQM offices overseas and at mine sites
• Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, contracts, and customer interactions in the database.
• Generate reports as required on sales performance, customer feedback etc.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and shipping of metal products to customers.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a related function, preferably in commodity trading or mining industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders (customers & colleagues) from different countries and cultures. Committed to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
• Strong administrative/organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling contracts and sales documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with CRM and database software.
• Numerate with good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant work experience will also be considered.
