We are seeking a skilled and dependable metal Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential buildings. Duties

Measure and cut roofing materials using hand tools and blueprint specifications Install various roofing systems including shingles, metal, and flat roofs Repair or replace damaged roofing components efficiently and safely Use caulking to seal joints and prevent leaks Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, and metal sheets Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper installation procedures Maintain a clean work site by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly Assist with other construction tasks as needed, applying carpentry skills when necessary Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risks during roofing projects

Qualifications

Proven experience with hand tools, construction, carpentry, and caulking Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Knowledge of blueprint reading for accurate material measurement and placement Maintenance Person experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks Strong physical stamina with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Prior experience in roofing or related construction fields preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
