. This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in all weather conditions while upholding high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain
metal roofing systems
, including standing seam, corrugated, and other panel styles.
Read and interpret
blueprints, specifications, and measurements
to ensure accurate installations.
Safely operate a variety of
hand tools and power tools
used in metal roofing, including metal shears, seamers, and drills.
Cut, bend, and fasten
metal panels, flashing, and trim
with precision.
Perform
caulking and sealing
to ensure watertight finishes around fasteners, seams, and joints.
Conduct inspections on metal roofs to identify issues such as corrosion, leaks, or structural wear.
Collaborate with crew members to meet project timelines while adhering to
strict safety standards
.
Handle
heavy lifting of materials and tools
(up to 50 lbs) throughout the job site.
Requirements
Proven experience in
metal roofing installation
(residential or commercial).
Carpentry or construction experience is an asset.
Strong understanding of
roof slope, pitch, flashing techniques, and underlayment systems
specific to metal roofing.
Ability to read and follow
blueprints and technical drawings
accurately.
Skilled with both
manual and powered roofing tools
, including safety harnesses and fall protection systems.
Comfortable working at heights and in
variable outdoor conditions

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
