Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Metal Finishing Specialist

to join our finishing team. This role involves cleaning, grinding, and polishing a variety of metal products (primarily stainless steel), both manually and using power tools or specialized equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for quality, experience in metal finishing, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform metal finishing operations such as grinding, polishing, sanding, and cleaning of stainless steel and other metals Use hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment to achieve required finishes Apply cosmetic and protective finishes to metal surfaces Ensure all finished products meet high-quality cosmetic standards Follow blueprints and work instructions to complete finishing tasks to specification Communicate with quality, production, and engineering teams to resolve any issues Perform all tasks in accordance with safety procedures and company policies Maintain a clean and organized work area Support other production departments as required

Skill Factors:

Experience in high-end metal finishing (especially stainless steel) preferred Proficient with hand tools, grinders, sanders, and polishing equipment Familiarity with fabrication and welding is an asset Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions Capable of working independently with minimal supervision Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for long periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in a metal finishing role

Shift Details:

This is a

full-time afternoon shift

position. Hours and schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Location:

This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, just 25 minutes from Kitchener/Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
