What is the job?

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment

• Operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls to cut bend, block and form or straighten materials.

• Reading blueprints, shop drawings, specifications and correspondence with engineers and supervisors

• Measuring, ordering, managing on site materials.

• Installation of all HVAC equipment.

• Physical effort and work conditions Candidates will be required to wear respiratory protective equipment and must comply with all safety regulations regarding the proper fit and use of this personal protective equipment

• Candidates will be required to work at heights from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms. Stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and climb.

• Work in confined spaces and inclement weather

• Support extended hours and overtime as business needs dictate

• Work may be performed indoors and outdoors

• Areas of specialization: structural metal or steel, plate work, pressure vessels

What you bring to the role:

• Ability to lift to 50lbs

• Experience in CNC machines, fabrication, ARC Welding and Flux core welding, plasma cutting

• Positive Attitude

• Flexible with your schedule when required

• Have access to reliable transportation

• Ability to work in a positive collaborative team environment

• High attention to detail

• Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Interpersonal skills are essential

• Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance

• Excellent time management and organizational Skills

• Must be able to obtain controlled good clearance
