ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT

Metal Fabricators create, install, fabricate and repair alloy/metal products

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

:Complete and independently plan, lay out, repair, dismantle, rebuild, maintain, install, and fabricate metal components Fabrication including shearing, forming, punching, drilling, grinding and welding Work from blueprints, sketches, manufacturer's patterns, and construction specifications Adapt to new methods, processes, material and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

:Metal Fabricator (Fitter) 437A, Welder (456A) Certificate of Qualification Valid CWB tickets would be considered an asset All position SMAW CWB Qualification All position FCAW CWB Qualification Arc air back gouging and oxyacetylene cutting experience is an asset Experience in heavy steel fabrication/welding or heavy equipment field repair Able to work at heights Ability to read blueprints and do layouts working to close tolerance Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written) Demonstrated ability to work in both a team and safety-conscious environments Committed to Company Health and Safety Shift work is a requirement of the position
