We're a growing automation and fabrication team looking for a Metal Fabricator with experience in welding, fitting, cutting, and general fabrication practices. We are seeking a skilled
Fabricator
with proven experience in MIG and TIG. This role involves reading blueprints, fabricating to precise specifications, and producing high-quality welds that meet or exceed industry standards. Experience using laser cutting equipment, brake press, and hydraulic shear would be beneficial.
Education/ Qualifications:
Minimum of
3 years of experience
as a fabricator
Forklift experience (asset)
Experience using laser cutting equipment, brake press, and hydraulic shear (asset)
Practices safe welding habits and always uses proper PPE
Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to handle challenges
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG)
Set up and operate shop equipment such as drill press, grinders, torch, band saw, hand tools, etc.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures with precision
Perform welding in multiple positions
Uphold quality standards
Troubleshoot and address issues that may arise during the welding process, such as weld defects or equipment malfunctions.
Collaborate with team members, fabricators and engineers to meet deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion and team success.

$ 25.00 - $ 35.00
