Adecco is currently seeking full-time Metal Fabricators - Red Seal /Journeypersons to join our esteemed client in Halifax, NS. This long-term, full-time project offers opportunities for LOA and travel allowances. To be eligible for these positions, candidates must hold a Red Seal or Journeyman Ticket and possess prior experience in fabrication, assembly, and fitting using various tools and equipment. LOA (Living out allowance): $135 / day worked
Travel: $220 weekly, if 80km away from locationOne time Travel Pay: $600Duties and Responsibilities:Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to blueprints and proceduresPerform measurements, cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding of partsRead and interpret drawings and layoutsInstall interior structures, hatches, doors, bulkheads, etc.Utilize various tools and equipment for pipe assembly and weldingWork with different pipe materials such as carbon steel, copper-nickel, and stainless steelRequirements and Qualifications:Eligible to work in Canada and resided in Canada for 5 yearsRed Seal or Journeyman TicketConfined Space and Fall Protection certificationsWHMIS certificationAbility to pass a pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit checkFull PPE and Fit Tested Respirator Mask requiredCapable of handling, lifting, carrying, and setting up parts and equipment weighing up to 50lbs or moreDaily commute to work requiredDon\'t miss out on this Metal Fabricator -Red Seal/Journeyperson job opportunities in Halifax, NS.
