Overview

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication processes, including welding and machining. This role is essential in producing high-quality metal components and assemblies according to specifications and blueprints. The Metal Fabricator will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that all projects meet the required standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication. Operate various machinery, including press brake machines, to shape and form metal components. Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal parts according to project specifications. Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in dimensions and tolerances. Perform machining tasks as needed to achieve desired shapes and finishes. Rig materials for lifting and transport within the fabrication area. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Skills

Proficient in welding techniques and practices. Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with operating press brake machines effectively. Skilled in using calipers and other measurement tools for precision work. Knowledge of machining processes is advantageous. Ability to fabricate, assemble, and build metal structures efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.62-$28.30 per hour

8 hour shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift
