Overview

We are seeking a skilled Metal Building Systems Erector to join our construction team. This role involves the assembly and installation of metal building components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various construction tools and techniques, with a strong focus on precision and safety. Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately assemble metal building components Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during erection processes Install metal framing, panels, and roofing systems according to specifications Use concrete forming, masonry, welding, caulking, and electrical experience as needed for specialized tasks Assist with construction estimating and planning to ensure project timelines are met Perform carpentry tasks such as cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration work when required Conduct concrete finishing and plumbing work related to building systems Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards Maintain a clean work environment and report any safety hazards or equipment issues promptly

Experience

Proven experience in construction, metal building erection, or related fields Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating software is preferred Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation Knowledge of various construction disciplines including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, roofing, and concrete finishing is advantageous Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites Prior experience in restoration or specialized installation projects is a plus
This role requires a dedicated professional capable of working safely in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and around heavy equipment. A valid certification or relevant licensing is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 70 per week
