Job Description


SRA Staffing is currently sourcing two SharePoint Developers for our utility sector client based in Regina, Saskatchewan. These roles will support Messaging, Intelligent Networks, and Infrastructure initiatives as part of a long-term engagement.
Work is primarily remote; however, candidates may be asked to attend periodic onsite sessions with at least 4 weeks advance notice.
Role Details:

  • Start Date: May 1, 2025
  • End Date: March 31, 2027
  • Location: Remote (Canada-based)
  • Utilization: 70% guaranteed
  • Onsite Requirement: Periodic, advance notice provided
  • Work Week: Up to 40 hours/week
  • Schedule Flexibility: May require occasional work outside of business hours (no overtime expected)
  • On-Call Rotation: Not required
UNPAID TIME OFF
  • Between Christmas and New Years
  • Easter Monday
  • Mandatory Skills & Experience:
  • 35 years of experience developing within the SharePoint platform
  • Expertise in:
  • Microsoft SharePoint (Developer perspective)
  • M365 (Microsoft 365)
  • SharePoint customization, workflows, and user interface
  • Strong understanding of:
  • SharePoint content management, collaboration, and BI capabilities
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • SharePoint security and permission structures
  • Education: 24 years post-secondary (Technical School or University)
  • Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer SharePoint
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist SharePoint
  • Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Exchange Online and OneDrive setup and support
  • Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:
  • Custom Web Parts, Workflows, and Forms
  • Develop components to enhance site functionality and user interaction.
  • Site and Application Maintenance
  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites and applications to align with evolving business needs.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide ongoing SharePoint support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • User Training & Documentation
  • Prepare user documentation and conduct training sessions for system rollouts or updates.
