Job Summary

Duties

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js to create seamless user interfaces and efficient server-side logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and innovative solutions. Implement secure RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between front-end interfaces and back-end services. Optimize application performance through code reviews, debugging, and refactoring using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git version control systems. Integrate third-party APIs and services such as AWS or Azure cloud platforms to enhance application scalability and reliability. Develop and maintain database schemas using MySQL or SQL for data integrity and efficient querying. Participate actively in Agile development cycles, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features. Conduct thorough testing across different environments including Linux servers to guarantee high-quality releases. Support deployment processes on cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure while ensuring adherence to security best practices like RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). Document technical specifications, API endpoints, and system architecture for future reference and team knowledge sharing. Stay updated on emerging technologies such as JavaScript frameworks or quantum engineering concepts that could influence future projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong command of JavaScript frameworks including React.js and Express.js. Solid understanding of server-side development using Node.js along with knowledge of RESTful API design principles. Familiarity with database management systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or SQL for data modeling and querying. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application hosting and infrastructure management. Knowledge of version control systems including GitHub, SVN, or similar tools for collaborative development workflows. Ability to develop secure applications employing RBAC policies and other security measures on Linux environments. Proficiency in front-end development techniques including HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js (nice-to-have), or other JavaScript libraries. Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum to facilitate iterative project delivery. Exposure to additional programming languages like Python, C#, C++, Java or VBA is advantageous for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
