goeasy ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Merchandising Co-Ordinator. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Business Insights, your main responsibility will be merchandising and providing purchasing support to our internal and external clientele for our easyhome division. In this dynamic role, you will interact with all facets of our business from our retail support center to store level execution within our Merchandising Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing an extensive set of product listings by vendor, including creation and maintenance of model files
  • Entering Purchase Orders both in our current system and on different vendor portals
  • Maintain and update website as also processing of Web orders
  • Provide pricing and information for Employee Order requests and process orders in a timely manner
  • Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing team, i.e., work on reconciling receiving issues, working closely with our AP team, cash purchases and working on reporting as required
  • Assist with various projects as needed (For example, product testing, conferences, etc.)
  • Provide store support through email and response to Purchasing hotline calls
  • Work closely with Category Manager and Vendors to provide competitive analysis on a regular basis
  • Prepare and maintain Franchise order forms and be the point of contact for day-to-day requests from our franchise team
Qualifications:
  • Proven multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel (Selected applicants will need to successfully complete an Excel skills evaluation as part of the interview process)
  • 1-2 years\' experience in a relevant role or retail inventory management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good experience in problem-solving, analytical and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (French is an asset)
  • Post-secondary education
