Job summary

The Merchandising Associate works in conjunction with Retail Operations Management to execute planograms and set up seasonal displays. This role involves building displays and stocking shelves throughout the store that are visually appealing and maximize impact on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

Execute merchandise based on corporate planograms or free-hand and set up weekly flyer items (e.g., aisles, ends, bases, bins, displays and wing panels, etc.). Update and replace signage and secure heavy display items. Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner. Recommend related products to customers so they leave with everything they need

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations

Requirements / Skills

Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks according to instructions Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays) Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching Result-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Experience executing planograms (asset)
