Overview

Choice Field Solutions Ltd. has been serving Western Canada as an industrial supplier for the past 15 years. We supply various equipment, accessories, safety apparel, and fleet supplies to our clients in geomatics, construction, engineering, locating, and forestry industries.

Description of position:

The merchandiser will work closely with the owner to ensure that all stock is properly managed, merchandised and priced. This position is a part-time position Monday to Friday 9am-3pm with some flexibility.

Duties

Ensure accurate placement of products on shelves and that all shelves are organized and tidy. Create and install promotional materials. Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs. Receive shipments and check for accuracy Perform regular inventory to ensure inventory levels are accurate Ensure all product is priced with current pricing. Assists in other areas of the business when necessary. Maintain clean, organized and safe retail space. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and guiding them through product selections.

Skills

Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior to effectively sell products. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, for creating engaging visual content. Excellent cashiering skills to handle transactions accurately when necessary. Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers positively. Background in retail sales, demonstrating an ability to communicate product benefits effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining merchandise displays. Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week
