Job Description

Purpose of Role:

To manage and maintain a defined sales territory, ensuring optimal merchandising standards, inventory management, and product availability. The merchandiser is responsible for ensuring store compliance, managing stock levels, overseeing logistical processes, and supporting events as needed. This role requires organization, attention to detail, and efficient use of tracking software.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Territory Management:

Visit major banner stores at least twice per month and independent retailers at least once per month within the designated territory. Ensure stores are properly merchandised, and all product displays, signage, and POS (point of sale) materials are up to brand standards. Address any merchandising or product issues in-store, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.

POS Tracking & Reporting:

Utilize Outfield software to track store POS data, capturing important details about product placement, display compliance, and promotional performance. Provide timely and accurate reporting on all store visits, including any insights or challenges observed during visits. Constantly be on the look out for new Nova Scotia product that qualifies for the program.

Hours Management & Reporting:

Accurately track and maintain work hours, ensuring they align with scheduled store visits and assigned tasks. Submit timesheets and necessary reports to Maverick management in a timely manner.

Event Support:

Fill in at events as needed, ensuring that merchandising duties are covered and that events run smoothly. Assist with event setup, product displays, and support the on-site team when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
