Kt8 Merch Company is looking for an in-house (Eglinton/Victoria Park) Production Specialist to help build and provide quality productions in a timely, consistent, and responsible manner as well as build and maintain vendor relationships.

As an essential part of the Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for ensuring production procedures are executed to meet KT8\xe2\x80\x99s quality standards. Will work collaboratively with the design team, manufacturers, and sales team to improve the supply chain, manufacturing and operational efficiencies. The candidate must be analytical, organized, have excellent communication skills, enjoy collaborating with a close-knit team and improving processes.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working on:

\xc2\xb7 Artist/Band Music Merchandise.

Production Management

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with vendors, and factories on daily tracking of production processes ensuring schedules are being followed.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure manufacturing plans are aligned with Kt8 factory capacity and output.

\xc2\xb7 Evaluate Production samples for final approval prior to manufacturing and shipping bulk goods.

Communication & Coordination

Daily update / meetings with Sales team, Shipping and Ecommerce Department on delivery and/or production issues and be proactive in identifying the root causes of issues and developing solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Send Purchase Orders to vendors once cost & delivery are confirmed.

\xc2\xb7 Follow the progress of all international manufacturing and shipments to ensure a timely delivery.

Process/ Market Analysis

\xc2\xb7 Continuously refine existing manufacturing processes in keeping with the latest techniques, best practices, and company values.

\xc2\xb7 Follow the set sourcing strategy to take advantage of trade agreements, vendor network, brand requirements, and global raw material costs & availability.

This position offers Salary (commensurate with experience) and benefits

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Requirements:

4-5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 managing apparel/garment production activities

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, etc.) and file management, and able to learn new software tools as necessary.

\xc2\xb7 Passion for Music merchandise and manufacturing and an understanding of ethical fashion trends.

\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience in the field of screen printing, embroidery processes, trims and garment construction / fabrication.

\xc2\xb7 Extensive understanding of the global sourcing and production cycle.

\xc2\xb7 An understanding of ethical and sustainable certifications and industry quality standards.
