Job Description


The primary purpose of the Merchandise Planning Assistant (Allocator) is to drive inventory productivity and efficency across Pandoras owned and operated stores, estore, and outletsthrough superior merchandising principles and supporting the Merchandise team as required.What to expect from the role

  • Key role in weekly trade reviews communicating variances to planned targets by channel
Maximise Inventory Performance
  • Support the control of Aptos parameters for store and product level sales curves, WOC targets, Mins & Max
  • Fully leverage Store Tiers to analyse stock turns based on sales volume
  • Help review of sales curves by store montiored weekly to ensure roll ups to financials
  • Support allocations to drive WOC & ST% targets by store tier through network wide reporting and analysis
Execute online and offline inventory balance is secured to achieve financial targets
  • Execute clear peak trading period inventory plans 2 months prior to peak sales (by channel)
  • Ensure stock is balanced across LC/DC to optimise each channel\'s peaks
  • Help to build inventories according to budgets and forecasts
  • Escalate any risks
In season reporting & analysis - category / collection / GBU sales & inventory forecasting (MFF)
  • Trading the business - Owned & Operated and Estore topdown category/ collection support based on trends to ensure sales and inventory targets are in line with financials
  • Promotion reporting
  • Adhoc analysis
Pivotal and professional qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or Fashion Merchandising
  • 1-3 year\'s experience working within Merchandising and/or experience from retail, fashion, lifestyle or FMCG industry
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong aptitude to learn technical applications (like MS Access and APTOS)
  • Knowledge of planning software
