MENTOR
A 14-year-old with Anxiety, living in the Urbandale area of Ottawa. As a caregiver, a typical session would be engaging the client in the community, supporting them with social anxiety, and building a positive relationship that offers a safe space to confide. Our client likes nature in general, going to the beach, park, escape room, music, and humor!

You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who has experience with social anxiety, enjoys talking and has a calm nature, a "G" level license and access to a reliable vehicle.

HOURS:
One 3 hr shift per week, flexible on days/times except mornings

RATE:
$20/hr

Requirements

• Valid First Aid and CPR Standard level C certification
• Smartphone with a data plan
• Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)

Assets

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
• Driver\'s License \xe2\x80\x9cG\xe2\x80\x9d class with access to a vehicle
• Valid NVCI, TCI, and/or CPI certification

Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Child and Youth Support Workers. In this role, you\'ll be working with children and youth in the community living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, varying mental illnesses, and behavioural challenges.

Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique. Some clients need mainly in-home support. Others require support participating in community activities. Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their well-being.
