Mental Health Worker - Supervised Practice, Internship, Practicum Placement

Internship Opportunity - Postgraduate or master's degree in Psychotherapy / Clinical Psychology/ Neuro Psychology, seeking internships to accumulate the required hours for registration with a regulatory body such as the CPO or CRPO

Internship Description:

As part of our initiative to contribute to the quality of services provided in mental health, we welcome postgraduates from psychotherapy, neuro psychology, and clinical psychology to join our internship program.

Interns will receive hands-on training and experience in a range of clinical areas. You will practice under the direct supervision of Sarvin Sabet Ghadam, a registered clinician with both the CRPO and CPO, who will provide regular supervision, guidance, and developmental feedback throughout your placement.

There is no fee for supervision or placement. Interns are only expected to continue managing their caseload after the internship concludes, for which they will be fairly compensated $30-$35/hour, based on their experience.

Eligible, qualified or in progress psychotherapists, psychological assessors, or mental health professionals with experience in motor vehicle accident (MVA) assessment are encouraged to apply. The rate will be determined based on experiences and competency.

Applicants who do not meet all criteria but have relevant experience conducting clinical interviews within psychological service settings are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Administering and scoring psychometric assessments

Conducting clinical interviews

Producing professional psychological reports

Participating in team meetings and clinical case reviews
