Works with clients with severe and persistent mental health disorders to live successfully in the community; and works with the Mental Health team to develop and implement appropriate psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) and recovery plans to meet the client's needs; provides daily physical, emotional, social support/advocacy, personal life skills assistance, teaching and coaching; supports client participation in daily living activities such as light housekeeping, personal laundry and by side-by-side food preparation; provides transportation services to and from events, outings, appointments and programs.

Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate in Nursing; Recreation; Social Services; Addictions or Degree other than OT or Social Work
Must be registered and be a member in good standing with their College and Professional Association
Class G driver's license and driver's abstract acceptable to our insurance provider
Must have own vehicle for use at work

Criminal Reference Check
Reliable attendance record

WHMIS
