Your Opportunity:The Mental Health Therapist (MHT) is responsible for providing specialized mental health assessment and consultation services to clients within the ODP. This is an advanced clinical position providing assessment, provisional diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to an addiction and mental health population, specifically dealing with concurrent issues associated with OUD and trauma. The Mental Health Therapist may also complete case management and coordination tasks. They collaborate with health care and community service providers to ensure a continuum of addiction and mental health care in the community. Knowledge of community resources is important to provide appropriate referrals as required. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024.
