Hours of Work: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday

Summary of :

To provide contracted services to the Fraser Health Mental Health Centre Case Managers and Mental Health Staff. To provide services one on one to mental health clients including training and support in personal care, home management, nutrition, money management, personal effectiveness, and use of community services with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.

Assisted Community Living Support Worker

The ACLSW is accountable to the Executive Director to work with clients referred by Fraser Health to enhance their life skills and to encourage progress from dependence to a more independent lifestyle using psychosocial rehabilitation.

Special Requirements

: Automobile, Regular Class 5 License, Business Insurance, Two Million Liability Insurance, Driver's abstract, clearance to work with vulnerable people, Canadian citizen or permanent resident visa status,

Qualifications

:

Minimum of 2 years towards Post Secondary Degree in a relevant field (preference for completed BA, BSc, BSW)

experience working in Mental Health or equivalent

Ability to form a therapeutic relationship

Knowledge of community resources
