Overview
Are you a professional in the field of mental health with experience supporting people in psychological distress? We have an opportunity for a Mental Health Specialist to provide supportive interventions to injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll work in partnership with WorkSafeBC clients in distress, with internal staff, and with external stakeholders to identify and respond to risk situations. You\xe2\x80\x99ll play an integral role in providing support to injured workers and their families during periods of psychological distress, collaborate with community mental health resources and service providers, and serve as a resource to case management teams throughout the province.
This is a temporary role for approximately one year \xe2\x80\x93 a great opportunity to try a new role, move on after your assignment, or explore avenues to stay.

Where you\xe2\x80\x99ll work
WorkSafeBC, we currently offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work a Monday to Friday week, primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally onsite at the Richmond office.
