To provide contracted services to the Fraser Health Mental Health Centre Case Managers and Mental Health Staff. To provide services one on one to mental health clients including training and support in personal care, home management, nutrition, money management, personal effectiveness, and use of community services with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
Assisted Community Living Support Worker
The ACLSW is accountable to the Executive Director to work with clients referred by Fraser Health to enhance their life skills and to encourage progress from dependence to a more independent lifestyle using psychosocial rehabilitation.
Special Requirements
: Automobile, Regular Class 5 License, Business Insurance, Two Million Liability Insurance, Driver's abstract, clearance to work with vulnerable people
Qualifications
:
Minimum of at least a Diploma, Degree or relevant post secondary education in a related field
2 Years related experience working in Mental Health or equivalent
Ability to form a therapeutic relationship
Knowledge of community resources
