Your Opportunity:
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team collaborating on the delivery of care for the needs of individuals, families and/or communities. You will be responsible for intakes, clinical interviews and screening of clients with addiction and mental health disorders. Delivery of individual and group programming as needed. You will liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively with other team members as required to facilitate client transitions within services. This position is open to Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists.

You may have the opportunity to participate in program planning, development and to provide supervision to practicum students. This position is open to Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychologists, and Registered Occupational Therapists.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a master's degree in psychology; a bachelor's degree in social work incorporating education in mental health assessment, brief counseling, and crisis intervention; a master's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with similar educational components; a bachelor's degree in nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and brief counseling; or a bachelor's degree in psychiatric nursing. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Proficient in understanding and use of Connect Care and the analysis of program data. Excellent communication skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines and triage multiple program demands, demonstrated understanding and experience of mental health and addiction assessment.
