We are looking for a dedicated and professional male to join our Housekeeping team full time at The Glencoe Club. As a Men's Locker Room & Laundry Attendant you will provide a clean and healthy environment for members and guests and aim to achieve a high standard of professional cleaning at all times.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, clean and maintained facility for all members and guests through various tasks such as mopping, vacuuming and laundry room tasks Upkeep of assigned areas and reporting any maintenance requirements to supervisor Effectively address member concerns and complaints immediately if possible, and take to supervisor when needed Actively collaborate and communicate with membership and housekeeping colleagues to ensure service requirements are met Complete tasks that meet Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications:

1-2 years of housekeeping or commercial laundry experience A diplomatic, outgoing personality with an ability to foster relationships with members and employees Comfortable with the physical requirements of the job including standing for an extended period of time, walking, lifting, grasping and performing repetitive motions Adaptability and flexibility to learn and apply skills through on-the job training Ability to effectively follow verbal and written instructions in English

Additional Details:

This position is full time that reports to the Housekeeping Director. The FT successful applicant must be able to work weekdays and weekends, with shifts being from 6am-2:30pm Tuesday to Saturday.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
