Full-time employees can join our group pension plan after two consecutive years of employment. Employees contribute 5% of their gross earnings per pay, which is matched by the Y. After three consecutive years of full-time service, participation in the YMCA pension plan becomes mandatory.

What you will do...




As the Membership Experience Supervisor, you will have interest and experience in working with diverse groups and providing exceptional customer service to all members of the community and leadership to the team.


The Membership Experience Supervisor will be responsible for:Providing leadership, coaching and direction to the Membership Experience Team. Responsible for all training, recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and training initiatives for both permanent and volunteer staff. Covering front line membership desk during staff shortages to ensure operational fluidity Work to increase member acquisition and retention rates Providing your strong abilities to problem solve and find resolution when dealing with difficult situations. Ensuring regular monitoring of all participants in the facility to guarantee everyone is acting in accordance to our internal policies and community guidelines, as well as be the point person for any emergency situations that may arise. Proactively assisting members and participants with any needs, inquiries or concerns that come up. The position will also require excellent knowledge of the services we provide. Responsible for effectively engaging members and participants on all our programs while living into our organization's values, as well as our Justice, Access, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (JAIDE) work. Other administrative duties as required.

You will be a confident, social person with great relationship building and leadership skills.


You will have a high school diploma, and ideally, you will bring a minimum of 3 years of customer service experience and proven ability to lead a team. You will be certified in Standard First Aid/CPR-C and AED. You are computer literate, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
