Summary
Working Title: Member Services Representative
Department: RMA Insurance
Reports To: Manager of Member Services
Purpose
RMA Insurance is seeking a professional service-oriented Member Services Representative (MSR) to support our members and internal team for a maternity leave position. Under the direction of the Manager of Member Service, the MSR provides frontline insurance service and delivers accurate and timely policy support, and contributes to a collaborative, results driven environment.
This role involves regular interaction with members, Risk Advisors and other departments, and requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Term: This is a 14-month maternity leave coverage.
Work Environment

• In-office position based at RMA's Nisku Office

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
As the primary point of contact for RMA insurance members, the MSR is responsible for a wide range of service and administrative duties, including:

• Responding to incoming telephone and email inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Completing member transactions and providing clear, accurate insurance information
• Assisting members with insurance questions, coverage explanations and recommendations
• Managing annual renewal processes for various insurance policies
• Preparing and issuing quotes for new and existing members
• Supporting claims reporting when required
• Performing data entry, document management, and filing
• Assisting with accounts receivable collection and statement distribution
• Supporting program report generation and internal reporting
• Participating in on-site and off-site member meetings
• Assisting with Spring and fall Conventions and the annual Risk Pro Seminar
• Collaborating closely with other MSRs, Risk Advisors, marketing staff and other teams as necessary

Education and Qualifications

• Licensed as an Insurance Agent in Alberta (General Level 1 required: working toward level 2 preferred)
• CIP or CAIB designation preferred
• Commercial insurance experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensing requirements
